Volunteerism Projects: General Public and United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta “211”, Community Service Volunteer in conjunction with the State Probation Office of Dekalb County, Volunteer Internships with Local Colleges/Universities
Community Outreach Events: Several local Churches and Schools in Fulton and DeKalb counties, East DeKalb Health Center, Kirkwood Community Health Center, DeKalb County Superior Court, DeKalb County DFCS, Gwinnett County DFCS, Fulton County DFCS, Cobb County DFCS, Easter Seal of Metro Atlanta
Media Outreach Program – A monthly (Public Service) training program for parents on KISS 104.1 FM, this radio broadcast airs between 6 am – 7 am on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

The Parenting Center currently offers the following programs:

Mother Knows Best Empowerment Series – A powerful workshop addressing the complex issues as they relate to parents with opposite sex children. This program is designed for females to explore the meaning of masculinity in parenting boys.

Anger Management Class – A comprehensive educational course of study about the impact of the powerful emotion of anger. The class provides answers to questions about how to successfully manage anger.

Traditional Parenting Education Class – A traditional course of study addressing the complex issues related to raising happy, healthy and well adjusted children in today’s society.

Domestic Violence Program – A program designed for men and women who have been (or at risk for becoming) violent with an intimate family member.

"Got Books Will Read" – A reading program designed to enhance reading skills in children ages 7-10.
